I watched this all the way through only because I like Bela Lugosi. The "comic" character Sammy was not funny. He was annoying and irritating. Any actual funny scenes were sparse. I have a sense of humor and I laughed only twice. If you want to see two real comics, a jungle princess and a gorilla, 'The Road To Bali' is a heck of a lot better. No matter how lousy the film, he always gave a good performance. Mitchell & Petrillo were a poor man's Martin & Lewis. (Very poor.) Lewis was grating enough, but Petrillo is unbearable. And Mitchell is no Dean Martin (he sounds like Tony Curtis). Huntz Hall visited Lugosi on the set and asked what he thought of Mitchell & Petrillo. Lugosi answered: "They're scum".
